Step 1

Once you have received the invitation to enroll via SMS or E-mail, click on the link. This should automatically start the Safari browser and bring you to the Jamf portal.

This one is presented in an e-mail, but you should receive something similar in SMS if your device supports it.

Step 2

Use the credentials provided to you to login to the portal.

You should provide the same Username and Password as the one to logon to your computer.

Step 3

If you receive a warning to assign the device to a user, just click on the Enroll button.

Step 4

After you have entered the credentials, follow the on-screen prompts and download the profile to your device.

Click Continue to enroll.

Step 5

If you receive a warning about downloading a configuration profile, please hit the Allow button.

Step 6

After the profile has been download and confirmed here, hit the Close button.

Do not exit the browser at this time.

Step 7

Once the profile is download, hit the Home button and go into Settings.

Find the Profile Downloaded section and click it.

Step 8

Once the profile is download, hit the Home button and go into Settings.

Find the Profile Downloaded section and click it.

Step 9

Select the profile that you just downloaded. There should be an Install Profile icon.

Step 10

Enter the passcode of the device to proceed with the profile install.

If you are not aware, this is the same passcode to unlock your device. Contact the helpdesk if you do not remember the device passcode.

Step 11

It may give a few warnings to alert you what installing the profile will do. Continue to hit the Install button for each warning screen.

Step 12

Confirm the install by hitting the Install button when it pops up.

Step 13

Once you get past the final warning, the Remote Management screen will show. Hit the Trust button to proceed.

Step 14

You’ll get a final confirmation window indicating the profile was installed. Hit the Done button.

Step 15

Back at the main settings page, you should see that the device is now under Mobile Device Management.

Step 16

After a minute or two, you will be prompted to automatically install a few applications as per the screen here. Hit the Install button so that they are pushed to your device.

You will need to hit the Install button for each application that needs to be installed.

Step 17

Use the home button and switch back to the Safari application.

You should then receive a confirmation screen in Safari indicating that the enrollment process is complete. You can now exit Safari at any time after this screen is presented.
